Under the project titled “RESCUE, Aydın University initiated collaboration with universities from various countries. One university from Lebanon has participated in this project lately. University officials paid a visit to get to know United Work as a success story. With this visit, we had the chance to promote our activities.
L’oreal is an esteemed partner UW for their refugee employment processes on retail side for a while now. Recently, L’oreal decided to hire blue-collar employees on their factor in Istanbul as part of their CSR planning. We shall be assisting them for the process starting from search and selection.
UW organization presentation to Radisson Blu Hotel Istanbul Tuzla . A meeting was held for candidates who knew they might need the Arabic language. Especially the barman and receptionist needs.
UW and Fear Wear Foundation agreed to collaborate on the project that they will support each other to handle the “Information line of the employees” who works in Textile Companies in Turkey. By this line, both parties can support the Refugees and Turkish Employees by giving them Labor Advices 7/24
Oxfam has newly won a tender from the Dutch Government especially for the Syrian Women who lives in Turkey. By this funding, Oxfam will target to train the potential women to produce handmade goods at home and by establishing a cooperative to sell these goods and support Syrian Women by
Deutsche Welthungerhilfe Livelihood Counselor Mr. Çankaya visited United Work headquarter office to obtain more information about the livelihood experiences of United Work and benefit from its expertise in the field. During the meeting it was agreed on consulting beneficiaries cooperatively for the services provided by WHH and United Work.
We had a presentation to Conrad Hotel which is a part of Hilton hotels group. The meeting was held for their Arabic-speaker employee needs and hiring processes.
