The meeting took place with the participation of Center of the Mediterranean Studies and Association of Asylum Seekers Rights, Master Students from Medipol University and Professor of Human and Community Units. Dr. Bekir Berat Özipek and Project Coordinator Mehmet Onur Sezgun, United Work, Refugees Association, Küçükçekmece Municipality, Blue Crescent, and other NGOs. The main subject of the meeting was “the efficiency of aid to the Syrian refugees in Turkey”. At the end of the meeting, opinions and suggestions were shared in order to prevent duplicate aid and provide a sustainable future. A conclusion has made about corporation will made by government, preparing a portal for the public to see the work of NGOs on the issue, and the mail group will be set up. The consensus was reached on the point that the business opportunities available for the refugees will be shared in a specific time frame. At the end of the meeting, Medipol University assumed the role of mediator of relevant stakeholders.
