In June, job interviews were organized for vacancies in Swissotel. As a result, 4 candidates were selected as Receptionist and Waiter/Waitress.
In June, job interviews were organized for vacancies in Swissotel. As a result, 4 candidates were selected as Receptionist and Waiter/Waitress.
Collective interviews were conducted in our office in order to fulfil the current vacancies in the Fairmont Hotel. More than 120 candidates participated in these interviews. The cooperation with the Fairmont Hotel will be maintained in the future.
We were represented at the iftar dinner that Sultanbeyli Municipality hosted for NGOs as a stakeholder with the Refugees Association in Hidiv Kasr-ı. During the dinner, we had the chance to interact with different NGOs.
We had a meeting with Memorial Hospitals and informed company representatives about the project. The company decided to maintain its cooperation with United Work for the new positions to be opened in the future.
We paid a visit to Brode Textile, where 5 of our candidates are working currently. With this visit, we had the chance to observe candidates in the workplace and meet with the company manager. Both sides seem satisfied and compatible with the situation.
We had a meeting with Crowne Plaza representatives for their open positions. We will present a candidate list including female candidates to the company for 4 different positions.
On-site training was provided to 46 employees of Inditex supplier companies on 22-23 June. 18 of the candidates who attended the training were from Adana and 26 from Mersin. During the training, participants are informed about labor market, trade union rights, the importance of orientation, and work ethic in Turkey.
As a result of the discussions, we decided to start a joint project with the ILO. Under the project, the ILO Turkey office agreed to cover work permit fees and Social Security premiums for three months for the United Work candidates and partner companies. As part of the project’s implementation,
Following the successful results after the first year of the project, we decided to convey the project to other cities of Turkey. After feasibility research in Turkey, we have reached a decision that opening our third office in Bursa would be the right choice. As a result, we opened the
