We held an interview with Kenan Ateş from Aqua-Cultural Product and Veterinary Services on their work force needs in our İzmir Office. We presented 20 candidates for the open positions. Hiring process is continuing.
Visit of Refugees International Representatives – Istanbul Office
Ms. Izza Leghtas from Refugee International has visited our office for second time after last year. We shared ideas on the employment of Syrian refugees under formal conditions in 2018. We have taken the details of their research on the same subject in Jordan for a possible investment in Jordan.

Meeting with Gemak
We held a meeting with one of the Turkey’s biggest ship building companies, Gemak, in their Tuzla shipyard section. We introduced ourselves and gave information about the United Work. Blue-collar personnel recruitment processes, candidates’ examination and training processes during the recruitment process were discussed in this meeting.
Meeting with Monsoon Accessorize
Monsoon Accessorize is a UK based brand; member of Ethical Trading Initiative. They have an international presence with over 1,000 stores around the world. Monsoon Accessorize is sourcing from Turkey as well and as they do not own a liaison office in the region, the UK sustainability team is overseeing
Turkeyana Interviews
In corporation with United Work and Turkeyana a collective interview was held on Dosso Dossi Hotel. 150 people attended the interview. Among presented candidates, 25 candidates selected, and work permit process will start in the following days.
Pendik Muncipality Annual Employment Fair
We participated the Annual Employement Fair that organized by Pendik Municipality, hosting more than 60 companies. We interviewed with companies, especially the companies operating in Tuzla-Pendik region. Participants from different sectors such as industrial production, retail and health were interviewed one by one and informed about the work carried out
Meeting with Marks&Spencer
Ms Fiona Sadler – Head of Ethical Trading (Clothing & Home) department of the Sustainability of UK and Mr. Tolga Han – Senior Regional Manager of the Turkey from Marks&Spencer visited our office. We had a meeting about our cooperation and development of the cooperation.
Meeting with Mango
We held a meeting with Mrs Beatriz Bayo Gonzales and Mrs. Laura Guiu Figuerola directors from Mango HQ in Spain. We agreed to sign a protocol for sharing candidates and providing training services to Mango’s Turkey suppliers.
Meeting with Dataassist
We had a meeting with the founder and owner of Datassist, Mrs Ayşe Nazmiye Uça. With this meeting, we were informed that they need Syrian English-Knowing Refugees within the scope of the İşkur Support Program. We have agreed on to present candidates for their needs about the project they proceed
